MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) – The Milwaukee Bucks may miss two of their superstars for Friday’s Game 3 against the Indiana Pacers.
According to the Athletics’ Eric Nehm, Middle missed practice as he continues to rehab his right sprained ankle injury that he suffered on Tuesday night in the 1st quarter against the Pacers. When asked if there was concern that he could miss Friday’s game, head coach Doc Rivers said, “Yeah, there’s a little.”
When asked about Giannis Antetokounmpo’s progress after practice on Thursday, Rivers said his recovery is moving in the right direction, saying, “Yeah, he did a lot of floor stuff today. Probably the most I’ve seen,” and continued by saying Giannis was “shooting and moving today.”
Rivers did add to his statement that Antetokounmpo was unable to do anything live today, and his status for Game 3 remains the same as Middleton’s, which is questionable.
