MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) – The Milwaukee Brewers will be without their manager and two-star pitchers for the next few games after a fight broke out between the crew and the Tampa Bay Rays.
According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel’s Curt Hogg, manager Pat Murphy will be suspended for the next two games, meaning assistant manager Rickie Weeks will be taking on his former teammate Craig Counsell when he returns to face his former club for the first time later this week.

Other Brewers that received suspensions were starting pitcher Freddy Peralta, who got five games, and relief pitcher Abner Uribe, who received six games due to throwing a punch during the brawl. Both are expected to appeal the suspensions and the only Rays player to receive a suspension was Jose Siri, who will miss the next three games.
